Quality
ISO 9001 certified
This gold standard for quality management is a badge we wear proudly. In short it means you can rely on us for consistency and reliability in every step of the way – from our products to our customer service.
Bureau Veritas type approval (hull mounted items)
This one is kind of a big deal. Our ICCP disc anodetypes ADS-1, ADS-2, ADS-3 with cofferdam, rod anode type ARS-10, and RSH & RSH longlife reference cell with cofferdam, are all product certified by Bureau Veritas. The type approval confirms that Cathwell’s ICCP products complies with Bureau Veritas rules for the Classification of Steel Ships & NI 423 Corrosion Protection of Steel Offshore Units and Installations.
DNV Letter of Acceptance – Hull penetration for MGPS/ICAF cable
Cathwell hull penetration products DG-1/2NPT-10 and SG294-1/2NPT-10 are accepted for use on DNV classed vessels.

Preserving our surroundings
In our commitment to preserving the environment, it is important to us that our solutions comply with environmental regulations.
Our copper-based marine fouling protection systems are certified for EU waters as they are fully compliant with the EU Biocide Regulations (528/2012) standard. Through the European chemicals agency (ECHA), Cathwell is listed under article 95. This list only contains approved active substances and suppliers, and we are proud to see the Cathwell name on it!
