Hans Petter is a Master of Science in marine and underwater technology, and a former employee at Equinor, TechnipFMC and DNV. Hans Petter is specialised in cathodic protection for ships, and handles most of our ship owner frame agreements. Hans Petter likes to be challenged with a sophisticated problem, and to solve it. He is always in a good mood and likes a practical joke.

Sophia holds a Bachelor's degree in cultural and social science. She has a completed a program in HR management at Master level, and has even added an organizational psychology university course to her resume. Sophia processes sales with a customer-focused attitude to ensure that the client is satisfied and their needs met. She has also well-developed and indeed valuable skills in mixing delicious beverages.

Per is an naval architect, experienced with ship hull and structural design at various shipyards. He used to work in Vard and Aker Solutions as a technical coordinator. Per has a passion for the Norwegian coast and -culture, life at sea and maritime tradisions. He never miss an opportunity to enter a bridge or an engine room, and he combines sale travels with commissionings and technical services. Per is happy when he calculates on a vessel new building project, - and specially if Cathwell gets the contract.

Fredrik holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics with focus on Computer Science and Management. As a former painter he is extremely aware of the importance of protecting surfaces from natural forces. He works as a project engineer and is interested in technology, digitalisation and making things work efficiently. In his free time, he likes to watch ice hockey and spend time with his daughter.

Emma holds a Masters degree in physics from the University of Oslo and has worked as a medical physicist at the Oslo University Hospital prior to joining Cathwell. As a Project manager at Cathwell, Emma will be a key player in keeping good speed in the Engineering team. When Emma is not busy holding the reigns at the office, she keeps her mind busy with learning new languages and following sport events.

Egil is a former chief engineer with long experience from Vard shipyard and Color Line. He works primarily out on site, performing technical services on all maritime and land-based structures including ships, floating offshore units (certified) foundations and pipelines. Egil is very hands-on always and focuses on getting the job correctly done.

Additionally, he is also a certified industrial installer. Gaute is one of our product designers who keeps us moving forward. What motivates Gaute is the combination of creativity and practicality.

Brage holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science. He has a broad mechanical background ranging from onsite experience, to design and calculations. Brage is skilled in CAD (3D & 2D) and is one of our product designers. He will perform technical services, but for the most part you will find him at the office working on new products and systems.

Veronica has studied sports management in Australia and organisational leadership in Norway. She also has education within the criminal justice system. Veronica has a keen eye for improvement processes and streamlining. She will be working with warehouse management, production, service, and service coordination. In her free time, she plays football, enjoys outdoor activities and mountain biking, preferably downhill from high peaks.

Terje holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Technical Cybernetics. He has over 20 years of experience in marine and onshore technical positions, and is certified for offshore work. His speciality is control systems and system diagnostics. Terje’s skills range across electronic and mechanical disciplines and include programming and 3D printing. Terje has a key role in research and development of new systems and is currently working with MasterCath, our remote monitoring and control system. Terje has a keen eye for detail and is your guy for advanced technical questions.

Leif Granåsen

Leif is a chemical engineer, and one of the most experienced and skilled corrosion engineers available. He started off in the research department in the Norwegian defence, and continued his career in Jotun AS and Cathwell. Leif has extensive knowledge about corrosion, cathodic protection and antifouling. Technical questions he possibly cannot answer directly, he will indeed find out shortly after.

Erlend holds a master of technology, machine and process technic. As a former Vard and Alfsen & Gunderson project manager he has good experience with extensive maritime, offshore and onshore projects. His primary tasks in Cathwell are QA management, project management, design and engineering, in addition to managing Cathwells internal systems. Erlend has a good eye for details and he's thorough and quick to address diffuse elements others might overlook.

Christoffer holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Technology, and is a former piping engineer and Technical Coordinator for Vard Shipyard.
