CathSense® control panels
State-of-art ICCP control panels, providing predictable corrosion protection and low maintenance cost.
The CathSense® panels are light weighted, module-based and incorporate switch-mode technology for efficient energy conversion.
Unlike a linear power supply, the CathSense® system regulates the output voltage by continually dissipating power in a pass transistor.
The CathSense® system has fold-back current limitation, which restricts the DC output current in case of supply rail component failure. CathSense® systems tolerate an indefinite short-circuit across the DC output poles.
CathSense® can be re-fitted to existing installations, already in operation
- Controller C100 plug-in module.
- 1-4 PowerSense P3200 plug-in modules, each with output 120 A capacity.
- Cabinet, IP44.
CathSense® provides an RS485 and an Ethernet port for remote monitoring. The optional MasterCath® remote access is tailor-made for monitoring and control of CathSense® ICCP corrosion protection systems.
Output current capacity ranges from 120 to 480 A, depending on number of installed PowerSense modules. Each PowerSense module can be individually controlled and regulated according to fixed current/voltage or according to measured reference potentials.
Controller C100 versions: MK1 (release 1 with limited web access). MK2 (release 2019 with full web access).
