Technical data sheet
Zinc anode, high temperature, HT-Anode

The special HT-anode is designed for use in tanks intended for the carriage of liquid cargo at elevated temperatures.

Properties

The HT-anode alloy is composed with the objective of obtaining consistent behaviour at ambient temperatures up to 90 °C, were conventional anodes tend to collapse. The HT-anode is tested in accordance with the 20 °C criteria of DNV-RP-B401.

Capacity

The high temperature zinc anode capacities have been verified by a 28 day test performed by Force Technologies adapted from the procedures in DNV-RP-B401, annex B and C.
