History

Cathwell established in 2003 when the paint company Jotun AS decided to phase out its cathodic protection activities. Cathwell acquired the industrial cathodic protection segment from Jotun AS.

In 2011 the company re-branded from Active Cathodic Protection AS to Cathwell AS. Since then, Cathwell has steadily grown to what we are today; the Scandinavian market leader in the fields of cathodic protection and antifouling treatment systems.

Since 2003, when Cathwell was established, the company has strengthened every year, even during the tough times.
